But I don't really understand how you can identify yourself as a different sex, because your actual sex is determined based on your genitalia isn't it? I think that it's completely fine to assume opposite (or just any) gender roles, kind of like with sexuality, but to proclaim yourself a different sex is something that I don't really understand. If you could help me to understand I would appreciate it, I just don't completely get it atm.
